Outdoor Photography Competition

Sharp Landscapes Competition Winner
Published in the May Issue of Outdoor Photography magazine. I pass the Forth Bridges on the way to and from work most days, so I’m lucky enough to see the bridges in a variety of weather conditions. This particular image was taken one evening when I was driving home though thick fog. As I drove down the hill to pass under the bridge the fog suddenly clear, leaving thick patches shrouding the bridges and warm diffused glow from the setting sun, The tide was on the way out, revealing some interesting features on the slipway and a wet glisten to the surface.
