Crossover Tracks

An early morning train heading over the Forth Bridge towards Edinburgh at sunrise. To maintain the geometric symmetry I fired off a quick burst of frames to ensure I captured the train exactly in the centre of the bridge span.

This image was Highly Commended in the 2023 UK Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.

Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl - a cellulose-based fine art inkjet paper with a smooth touch finish. This bright white paper has a delicately textured surface and a smooth, silky feel, providing depth and detail to both colour and black-and-white photography.
