Wellies are a must when shooting these type of coastal shots and a slow shutter speed was used here to capture the motion of the waves as they washed up against the groynes on Portobello beach.

This image was part of my runner-up portfolio in the 2019 Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards.
