SHUTTERED

In the first lockdown period of spring 2020 we were initially restricted to only leaving the house once a day for essential reasons such as food shopping and one hour of exercise. During this period my daily exercise routine usually consisted of taking our dog Monty for a walk around the local area. We live quite close to the River Forth so one of our regular routes took us along the shore path but, in order to get to it, we had to walk around the perimeter of an industrial estate. As I walked around it each day I was constantly attracted to the different textures and details found in the patchwork of corrugated metal fence panelling and started photographing it with my iPhone 8 in square format mode. I initially thought about just using the phone to scout compositions with the intention of going back with my Fuji X-T3, but I was so impressed by the image quality that I decided to set myself a mini project of capturing a set of images just using the iPhone.
The following images are a small selection of my favourites from the many I took during my daily walks.
